Privacy & Terms

What SlideMate receives when you use the site, how your requests are handled, and the rules for using generated presentations and Research Notes.

Privacy

Information you provide

When you create slides, your browser sends the topic and selected options (such as audience, style, slide count, design, speaker notes and pictures) to our server. Research Notes requests include the topic, audience level and optional focus instructions. Please enter only subject matter; do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers or other personal details.

AI and image services

Slide creation sends the topic and selected options to Groq using our slide-generation key. Research Notes sends the topic and instructions to Groq using a separate key and its browser-search service. These providers process requests under their own terms and privacy information.

If Related Pictures is enabled, the server sends short AI-generated image descriptions to services such as Pexels, Unsplash and Wikimedia Commons to find pictures. Your browser loads chosen images through our server.

Presentations and temporary Research Notes storage

Slide generation and editing happen in your browser. When you request a PowerPoint file, the edited slide content is processed to build the download. SlideMate does not currently offer sign-in or a saved-presentation library.

Research Notes topics, audience level, focus instructions and generated reports are temporarily stored in Cloudflare D1 so we can show the preview and provide the free PDF. Records expire after about one hour and are removed by an hourly cleanup. We do not publish reports or use them as public examples. The text-only PDF is assembled in your browser and contains source links, not images.

Payments, cookies and third parties

PowerPoint downloads currently cost ₹19. Razorpay processes these payments; full card and bank details are handled by Razorpay and are not stored by SlideMate. Research Notes PDFs are free for a limited time.

SlideMate does not currently use analytics or store Research Notes in browser storage. Google AdSense and Razorpay may use information or cookies under their own policies.

Terms of use

Review AI-generated work

AI can make mistakes, mix up facts, dates or numbers, or leave out important information. Check presentations and Research Notes against reliable sources before presenting, relying on or submitting them. Notes are intended to be detailed for the chosen audience, but they cannot cover every fact about a broad topic.

Templates, charts and pictures

Some templates contain sample charts or infographic figures that SlideMate does not rewrite. Check, edit or remove those before presenting. Keep picture credits in the PowerPoint when sharing it. Some Slidesgo designs require their attribution slide to remain; do not remove it unless the template licence allows it.

Responsible use

Follow your school, college or workplace rules about AI-assisted work. You are responsible for reviewing generated files and deciding how to use them. Do not use SlideMate to attack the service or create harmful, hateful or illegal content. Request limits may apply to keep the service available.

Prices and availability

PowerPoint downloads currently cost ₹19. Research Notes PDFs are free for a limited time; offers and prices may change. Any amount shown at checkout applies to that purchase. SlideMate is provided as is and may change, become unavailable or stop at any time.
