Privacy

No account is required to create a presentation. Here is exactly what happens to what you type.

What we receive

When you press "Create my slides", your browser sends the topic and your options (level, style, number of slides, design, speaker notes, pictures) to our server. Please type only the subject. Do not type names, emails, phone numbers or other personal details.

Who else sees it

Our server passes the topic to an AI service to write the slides. We use Groq as the main service. We only send the topic and fixed instructions, nothing that identifies you.

If you leave "Related pictures" on, our server also sends a few words describing a picture (for example "green leaf sunlight"), chosen by the AI and not your full topic, to free photo services such as Pexels, Unsplash and Wikimedia Commons to find photos. Those services see our server, not you. Your browser then loads the pictures through our server.

Your slides and downloads

To let you edit and download, our server keeps your generated slides and pictures in its memory for up to three hours, then discards them. When you press Download, your edited text is sent to our server, which builds the PowerPoint file from the design you chose and sends it back to you. We do not save your topics or slides in a database and we do not write them to logs.

Payments

Downloading is free at the moment. If we add paid downloads later, payment will be handled by a payment provider such as Razorpay, and this page will be updated before that happens.

Cookies and tracking

SlideMate itself sets no cookies, uses no analytics and does not store anything in your browser. There are no accounts and no login yet. Our pages may show ads from Google AdSense, and Google may use cookies for that under its own policies.
