Terms of use
SlideMate helps you start a presentation. Please read these short rules.
AI can be wrong
The slides are written by an AI. It can make mistakes, mix up facts, dates and numbers, or leave things out. Always check the content against your textbook or another trusted source before you present or hand in your work. Slides marked "Check facts" need extra care.
Charts and pictures
Some designs contain charts or infographics. SlideMate does not rewrite them, so they keep the sample numbers from the template. Edit or delete them in PowerPoint before you present. Pictures come from free photo services such as Pexels, Unsplash and Wikimedia Commons, and each one carries a credit in its description inside the file. Please keep the credit when you share the file. Pictures are only meant to illustrate a subject and are not proof of anything.
Design credits
Some designs come from Slidesgo templates, which ask that their attribution slide stays in the file. SlideMate leaves that attribution text unchanged. Do not remove it unless the template's licence allows it.
Be honest about your work
Follow your school's or college's rules about using AI tools. If you are not allowed to hand in AI-written work, use SlideMate only for ideas and write the slides yourself. You are responsible for what you submit.
Use it fairly
To keep the service available for everyone, each visitor can create a limited number of presentations per hour. Do not attack the site or use it to make harmful, hateful or illegal content.
Downloading a presentation
Creating, previewing and downloading a presentation is free at the moment. If that changes, the price will be shown on the Download button before you pay.
No guarantees
SlideMate is provided as is, without promises that it will always be available or error-free. The service may change or stop at any time.
